I know I said in my last blog that it would be my last blog but....I don't wanna leave *sob*. I have tried to settle somewhere else but it's not the same. Blogster is pathetic, Tweeter is just a news feed, and Blogger is ok but it's not Multiply...*sigh*
And besides, I have some pretty nifty pm's in my archives here that I go back and read from time to time. I don't delete much lol.
ReplyDeleteHey, I am hanging around until the lights go out and the dancing stops...
ReplyDeleteTry Ipernity Sheila...it's very like multiply. Here's a link: http://www.ipernity.com/home/245856
ReplyDeleteThanks Lee, I tried that and got stuck for some reason after I put in the password they gave me and then tried to change it to one I could remember then it woudn't let me back in. I will try it again.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad. I think I will too. Save the last dance for me will you Peter?
ReplyDeleteIf you decide you like it...send Ipernity management an "Ipermail" with multiply in the header and they give you a one month pro account which will give you bigger uploads to make the move etc.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to save your multiply site completely try: http://www.httrack.com/page/2/en/index.html
It will save an exact mirror of your site....comments and all..
Of course! :))
ReplyDeleteWill you remember?
You got me thinking about Saturday Night Fever. Let the disco begin! BTW, what is it you don't like about blogster? Just curious
ReplyDeleteHow could I forget such a wonderful prospect :-))
ReplyDeleteI don't like the way the site navigates. I don't like that it looks so bleak and it seems there is no way to really personalize it except to change the background and then the white still remains well, white lol. People are friendly enough and I haven't seen any drama. I don't like that I can't choose who sees and who doesn't see my blogs. Like here, you can pick who you want to see what you post and you can exclude anyone else. Not that I do that very often but I remember once when we were planning a surprise for someone and were able to have discussions about it via blogging and keep the guest of honor out of the discussion, so that when the time came he was surprised by our surprise. I don't think we can do that on blogster. I could go on but it would seem like whining? I will just say that Multiply spoiled me and I don't like any other yet lol.
ReplyDeleteI've been uploading them along with some of my blogs and my photo albums onto my hard drive where i'll keep them and put SOME onto whatever place we finally settle that allows it...sigh...
ReplyDeleteI don't delete much either... especially PMs where i've had some GREAT discussions *wink*
There's dancing???
ReplyDeleteI want to dance.
EXACTLY!
